Funny you should post this galah shot as just yesterday a flock landed out the front. We don't get many here so thought i'd grab a shot but they were gone by the time I grabbed the machine. Looks like an out of control green parrot down the bottom right ! Galah gave the short shift I'd say!

G'day Taboo
Well spotted for the green parrot - and yes, there were 1/2-dozen originally but with the raucus squawking of the galahs with more on the way, the smaller birds decamped for greener pastures

G'day all

Just wanted to say a collective "thank you" to all here for your feedback to the images posted over the past couple of weeks. It is obviously a welcome but momentary diversion from an otherwise quiet day around the house!

Anyway here's several more
Phil - currently sitting less-and-less patiently, mostly housebound except for "essential" shopping in eastern Australia

Love the dingo shot. I wonder what the tag is for?

G'day mate

All the dingoes are tagged by the state wildlife people to keep track of their movements and possible anti-social behaviour. These are wild dogs and hunt daily for their food - occasionally crossing into camp grounds and have been known to chase and attack small children. The island is a sanctuary, so no domestic dogs are allowed to visit with their campers / owners
