Hi all,

As a follow up to the Maddington Homestaed post, this is the cottage on the same site.

Obviously the fires have made the building unstable, hence the scaffolding, just such a shame that this piece of history is in this terrible state.

C&C Always welcome

Regards

Barry H

In a technical sense a good picture.

Two things. Might lift the blacks out slightly - the tree in the frame edge looks a bit dark.

Also edges. Theeft side of the building/scaffolding is cut off at the corner. Panning slightly to the left would have solved it.

Good light and sky though. Suits it well

Another option to make sure you get the entire building is too shoot a little wider that you think you need too. This will allow you to crop in or make other corrections, such as leveling, without losing the important parts of your image. Otherwise, great shot!

Thanks guys, I will go back again shortly and try to improve the image, thanks for the input.

Winchestergoose, yes it probably is the place everyone drives past, but don't realize it is there or what significance it has in WA history, it is almost directly behind Maddington shopping centre.
