If you look over in portraits, I took a photo of someone who came and sat in my view. This is what I was there for. I was getting a slow shutter of the interesting sky.

Comes up really well Don. Going by the other shot, you had a pleasant morning out!

Beautiful shot, Don. I really like the motion in the sky and the pastel colors.

I am ok with the motion in the sky - but not the bush. Did you take any non LE shots.

It looks like a natural bridge on the sea! Isn't it ;)

Good movement in the sky (but the bush is a problem for me) and like the smooth sea.

Thanks. It was actually evening, but this is looking south.

Thanks. I am pleased with the colours.

I did, and I know what you are thinking. It never occurred to me to try to blend them together. I should try that, but it is pushing my PS skills.

I told it to stay still, but you know bushes ;)

I have been trying for an hour now.....anyone know a good tutorial, preferably not a video but if it must be, on how to get the static bush from one image in the other? I have never done this before. Yes, I have been using PS since 2009. I am not even sure what I am searching for. I know this will be done with a mask layer but I do not know how.

I like the moving bush - as it seems at odds with the rest of the picture, it introduces some tension - provides some different interest. Sky is great.

I quite like that but as Steve has said the motion on the tree and especially the bus is off putting. There's a time and place when motion blur is favourable but feel this isn't one of those moments.
There's potential, if done well, for a black and white conversion.

Don, my take (others may differ...) would be to open up your long exposure shot and your static bush shot in PS, and have them both visible. Clone out the edges of the bush in the LE shot, and go a good way in from the edge - say 10-15%. Make a loose selection around the static bush in the other photo, and feather it to maybe 15 pixels, and copy. Move over to the LE shot and paste. Reduce the opacity of the layer so you can see where it is, and line it up with the horizon, tree and edge of the pier, then put back to full opacity. Make a layer mask on the bush layer, and paint in any areas which look odd with a soft black brush, and that should get the result you want...I hope...

I do not know how to do any of that, see the other thread.

Beautiful Capture, but I do agree with every one about the brush.
