Hello everyone,

I feel like I say this everytime I post, but this time it really has been a long time since I last posted! I hope everyone is doing well.

Here is a shot from a couple of weeks after lockdown in July, a much needed weekend away in the campervan. For the time of year I found the conditions and light quite interesting.

Any thoughts and comments much appreciated.

Cheers,

Ryan

Great shot, I really like the dark and moody atmosphere.

Looks like typical July weather for up here.
Quite like it. Never really liked portrait format as a full frame but the proportions of this composition work very well together. The vignette is quite strong though.

Very nice atmospheric image with instant drama, my only crit would be that you have chopped of the point of land on the right , i think including that would have made it much stronger.

Cheers Scott. Here's a version with the vignette reduced. Nice to see the photos of your house nearly finished by the way. I think the last time I was on here you'd just had the foundations poured.

Thank you Stephen. Yea, I agree. Unfortunately I couldn't get it into the frame, and landscape orientation just wasn'y working for this one.

Thanks Ryan. It's good to finally get in.
Much prefer the picture without the heavy vignette.

Gorgeous scene, love those golden foreground details cast against the dark angry sky although, I'm with Scott in preferring the lighter vignetted version.
