Thanks Steve .. . will definitely try this again but with more frames and a better foreground interest .... might try it down on the beach next time and with the siggy 10-20mm.
I found the star colours interesting as they all look white when viewing with the naked eye.

Yes it's interesting when you look at the frames. It's like moonlit photography, looks mono to the eye, but the camera catches the colours still.
Have you got an intervalometwr thingy?

Yes... got one from ebay think it was £12 ....
