The Basilica de la Sagrada Familia is one of the iconic buildings of Barcelona. It is the ingenious design by the architect Antoni Gaudi. The outer front facade is called Nativity. Here are a few photos of the different nativity scenes portrayed.

Lovely. I've visited Barcelona many times and I just love this place. I've also photographed this part. On the third one, the character on the left reminds me of Richard Branson.

Wow, this would be exciting to visit. As far as pointers it looks like you did a good job considering the location limitations. The only thing I might try is a B&W conversion with filters. Sometimes you can pull out better details on something that's almost monotone anyway.

Can't really say much about it Mike, as it's such a pig of a building to take a photo of in the scrum of tourists so coming away with anything is a win.

The crowds were not that bad. We bought tickets online and used the parent child push chair entrance which was not bad. They let visitors enter in batches so as not to overcrowd the inside. The buying tickets online was very convenient.

That's lucky, last time I was over there for any purpose (July 2018), the amount of people was so bad that the metro station was closed for safety concerns and you couldn't get near the place. It's the same with any place in town now, if you don't get in at this time of the year when it comes to the warmer times it gets impossible to see anything because of how crowded it's getting.

Sounds like Venice and Rome in summer time!
