Have you an unusual or normal pet? Let's see your animal whether it's a dog, cat or goldfish - or reptile ... whatever!

Mattie - Mattie was found under a hedge as a kitten about 16 years ago.
Mattie.jpg

Claude - Claude was a semi-feral cat on his way to a local cat rescue when he escaped. He was spotted around villages in the area and ended up on our doorstep (we keep a bowl of cat biscuits in the porch for hedgehogs). Obviously been a bit of a scrapper in his earlier life, torn ear and nose and a limp.

He must have decided we were OK as he's been here ever since.

This is 'Mr Boa', who unfortunately passed away a few weeks ago, due to what we can ascertain via Google was a neurological disease. He had reached about almost ten foot long. I had to lift up paving slabs in the back garden to bury him under, otherwise the local foxes would resurrect him (as they did digging up a recently buried pet rabbit a few years ago)

We live on a ranch in the Foothills of the Rockies and have accumulated a few lovable mutts.

Scarlett, Ringo and Blossom in a snow storm (this afternoon):

Violet, our yard / guard dog last week. We refer to her as Queen Victoria and she knows she is the 'Queen':

Snowball and Pebbles are the house pups and essentially rule the roost:

Enjoy!

Thank you for posting. I’m surprised no one else has started one like this as all those of us who have pets do photograph them from time to time. For me, I’ve loads more to post but mainly of animals that have been finished off by the vet

Great shots but love the Gordons. I'm sure a lot of people think they are hairy Rottweilers:)

The first dog my wife and I had was an Irish Setter, an absolute bloody idiot, but we loved her all the same. My wife saw her first Gordon at a dog show one day and just had to have one, we ended up with six of them. We also had an English Setter, but the Gordon's were our favourites.

Don't let anyone ever tell you that dogs can't/don't see what is on the television. Boof was off the couch in a flash any time an animal came on the TV, including cartoon animals such as Santa's Little Helper from The Simpsons.

A short video of one of our many cats, Jonah, playing with a litter of Mini Schnauzers. I'm convinced that the dangling tail at the end was just for teasing the puppies.

How old is she now as I seem to remember you posting photos of her some years back?
