Nice shots, and lovely cat; the first is a good, classical portrait, the second is my favourite however, the cat is apparently indifferent but yet keeping an eye on you, typical.
I 'm not sure if the white out of focus area on the left side distracts or instead balances the white of the whiskers pad and mittens.

You're spot on when you say she looks indifferent.. She gets treated well but would rather give you a nip than take a pat. Only cat I've seen that won't purr and looks on any attention with suspicion.
:grin: I didn't even notice the white on the left of the second shot. Now looking again it's in the first as well and I guess I'll just have to say it gives it a 3D lookItd 3d Ani W60 Smiles 043
