Very nice, but to me, the first is the best.

My fav is the first too, its hard not to blow the sun so better to avoid like in the first.

First favourite for me too - the sun is just too bright in the others. Usually best to have it behind a cloud or tree or something.

Last one is nicely framed but a little out of focus and too contrasty.

In my opinion :)

Can't see the exif on these but looks like the last one could have done with a smaller shutter .... probably would have kept everything in focus .....
Asuming you used a tripod for these.?

Good efforts all round. The last two might have benefited from a graduated filter to prevent the sun from blowing that part of the image. But also tricky with the dark surrounding foliage etc which would then be lost.

these where all taken hand held, it was a "oh look at that" moment, whilst I was out waking one night and only had my camera over my shoulder , no tripod no bag so no filters with me :( going to make a special journey there again one evening to try and recapture with some more kit. unfortunately the software I am using at the moment to reduce my images to the 1024 size seems to remove the exif info :(

firsat works best for me. i like the nice muted tones and the siloettes are pleasing to the eye. the other two have too much undefined dark areas for me. if things are going to be silhouettes I prefer there to be an interesting shape.

I would pick the first. The long grass in silhouette is great. The water on the water is well done, I personally love when the light hits water at that angle.
