Well I guess this is the best that I have managed with my worst kit, the canon S100.

100mmmacro.jpg

Two others that I haven't posted here before, taken back in February before I joined here. I knew absolutely nothing back then.
They were the best I could do at the time, therefore, best picture, worst kit.

That Canon lens shot is a corker Sam, if I hasn;t seen it here I'd have thought it was a magazine ad

Not a brilliant shot but this is all I could afford in 2004. Having said that, I'm impressed with the sky!

One from January 1998 with a 0.9mp camera! This was my first digicam a JVC s5 and I thought it was great technology at the time! Never thought it would rival film though! :)

This was shot jpeg... cos it couldn't shoot anything else!!!

Just goes to show megapixels don't necessarily mean anything! :)

Dave that's stunning from such an early digital cam - presumably full auto?? Not a bad exposure considering pretty harsh light!

A couple from my S1730 Fuji bridge. The bird eater was about as good as it got before I bought the DSLR although I like the one of the cat even though it;s wrong eye is out of focus and many other issues :/

Saying that, this turned out better. Sure this was with the fuji as well..

Thanks Carmen yes it was full auto... an on/off switch a shutter button and review button is all it had. That shot was taken just after sunrise in a place you have just been to... Monaco the view is from the balcony of what was the Lowes Grand hotel (the one with the tunnel). I was actually just playing with the cam seeing if it would just blow out the image by aiming it into the sun or actually take a shot... but I liked the shot so kept the file!

One from me, taken this afternoon on my first digital camera a 1.3MP Casio QV-8000X, which still appears to work OK.
