Love the colors. I have never seen the Aurora here in the Northern Hemisphere.
I've been far enough north, Aurora not in swing when I'm there.

Wonderful shot! Does remind me of a huge explosion in the distance, though, albeit with stunning colours.
I really want to see the Aurora Borealis in all its full glory - I've seen the bright green blanket, which is, frankly, unimpressive. One day...

I've witnessed breathtaking Aurora Borealis multiple times from multiple locations in Canada, but one of our forum members, @Jurujoh is in Taz, and has posted some fantastic shots of Aurora Australis. You just have to keep your eyes peeled for the right night.
