It's stupid how quickly one forgets where a photograph is taken (I know I could turn on the location gizmo but I didn't) - these are of the River Wye between Ross and Newent this morning - I think. Please bear in mind that I only had camera and lens and no tripod or filters. The compositions aren't great but when you stop at the side of the road for only 60 seconds in a tiny gateway or lay-by you don't usually have much choice on photographic layout.

What I'm wondering in particular (hence Full Critique) is, are these under or over exposed and also are they too warm or too cold in colour temperature?

Nice set. The temperature seems fine to me. The exposure is pretty good overall. The sky could be a tad too bright, hard to tell since it appears to be a clear sky.

Good shots Edward - like them both as is, but I see your conundrum. The first I think might benefit from a touch of lightening of the foreground, to balance the bright sky, and the second just needs an invisible vignette to pull the margins down - the centre looks fine to me. Colour temp looks about right.

Thank you all and thank you @David_MC and @Pete Larkin - very helpful and a stronger vignette has definitely worked in my favour.
