Hi all, does anyone use or know anything about the raw therapee editing suite 5.7? Is it a good suite for a beginner? Can you use jpeg images straight from your camera in it as it’s title is raw is it raw shot images only but confused? And as a beginner is there a better easier suite I could learn on?
Many thanks for any answers in advance
Mark

Raw Therapee is designed to work with raw images. It will work with other image types, but its advantage is working on raw images. One suggestion is to use the software that probably came with your camera.

I do. You have more control over white balance, over and under exposure, it is easier to correct these and much more.

Not used it but heard good things about it. I'd try it and see if you get on with it.

Raw Therapee is a great little program having a lot of editing options. However, its user interface is unique - not bad just really different.

I wonder how many programs are going to copy the color warper tool that DaVinci Resolve 17 has? For video, it really speeds up grading.
