Love the first. That sky alone would make a great picture - not that I condone this approach to landscape photography but if you take a sky shot alone, keep it and you can blend it into a scene with a dull flat one, or clear blue one to add pizzaz. Not something I would do myself but a lot do.

Thanks. Wish this was on a beach or somewhere else :). Can't expect much from a roof top. Cloned out quite a bit of **** like mobile tower, etc.

I can see quite a few cloning marks tbh - I think you'd be easier to avoid this and just live with it.

I was afraid of that. Must be on the one added new to the original list. I have removed it.

My grandma told me a long time ago.
Red sky at night
Sailor`s delight
Red sky in the morning
Sailor take warning.
Cool shots

I grew up in rural England, the common saying was:-

'Red sky at night, shepherd's delight';
'Red sky in the morning, shepherd's warning'

Quite often heeded and quite often worth heeding apparently.

Nice sky! An old Chinese saying of same kind: burning at dawn, it would be rainin; buring at dusk, sunny day follows.... a more accurate weather forecasting in old time for rural peasants :)

Like that one... I have to ask if that 'misty' atmosphere in Beijing is due to less 'clear air' than we are used to elsewhere???

yes, indeed. it contains complicated substances, such as dirt from earth, industrial emissions and etc...but sometime, when the wind blows all dirt away, it will become amazing place...like thisS1R20210120--4.jpg
