Hi Guys, I am clearing some old cameras from my dads, I don't really have much of a clue, I have a Eumig Viennette 5 camera, it has a film inside and another in the bag, I have managed to work out how to change the batteries and the camera seems to be working, I don't want to keep pulling the trigger as I assume that will expose any film that is inside, but I cant see anything through the eyepiece, it is just black (I have taken off the lens cap)

Also the zoom button doesn't seem to make any noise when pressed so I assume not working.

Any ideas, am i just not doing something correctly or does the camera sound goosed.

Lastly can i still get super 8 film cartridges developed, the one in bag doesnt say exposed so not sure if its been fully used or not, i is a kodachrome II color movie film

Thanks

In answer to a couple of your queries, yes it is possible to have Super8 developed still, but the price is going to floor you. You can still buy Super8 film cartridges too, starting around $50 and up for a 50 foot spool.

No one can process Kodachrome anymore, Kodak quit making the chemicals. Even so, the Kodachrome II used the old K-12 process, replaced in the 1970s or so.

Is it similar to this one?

Zoom motors often failed, this one has a manual zoom.
