I used to have one of these when I was 18. I picked this one near on mint on ebay for a bit of fun. The box of 5 films cost more than the camera

I still have one of these. Haven’t used it for a very long time. Unfortunately all my old film cameras have a 4 ft bearded dragon vivarium on top of the pine unit they reside in, so access isn’t feasible at present. I bought mine second hand too over 20 years ago.

HELP NEEDED.

Hey, I've recently been using an old minolta x300 I bought off ebay.
And I keep coming across the same issue in which when loading the film into the camera it will wind and the shutter will go off once, but then when winded again, the shutter will not fire.
It means I'm having to unspool the film and try again, stretching out useable film and wasting shots I otherwise could have used.
Without film, I can wind and fire the shutter perfectly fine. Occasionally it'll get stuck but when wiggling the winding spool it will eventually allow me to fire.
How do I make sure the film loads without issue, and how do I resolve the one I have now?
