Just come back from a walk with the dog and got a few nice sunrise shots :) and a little surprise for me, a few geese with their goslings :)

Atmospheric shots, Sharon. I like the composition of the middle one best, but I think it needs a good bit of lightening up to see the detail which is there - will be a great shot then

Really beautiful scenes you captured Sharon. I hope this helps with camera settings for next time.
These are my settings for sunsets/sunrises.
-------------------------------------------------------
1. Aperture Priority Mode for starters but mostly I use Manual.
2. f:11 - f:16.
3. ISO 100.
4. Manual focus 1/3rd into the scene - Hyperfocal Distance.
5. Use a tripod.

These are basic starting settings and you can adjust the ISO as needed.
A good method for sunset/sunrise photos is to take 3 or 5 bracketed shots to produce an HDR image in post.

I'm really amazed that you captured these at 1/4000th second. Perhaps it's because your aperture was at f:5.6
I hope this is helpful for you, it looks like you have the perfect vista for getting the sunrises.
Cheers.
