The highlight of yesterdays visit to Saltram for Kyra (my grandaughter) was seeing and smoothing this cow, which we named Daisy. Unfortunately to get close to Daisy to feed and photograph her you had to battle stinging nettles, Kyra got stung about 7 times and me twice. Luckily my daughter had some ointment which sorted it straight away.
In the last 2 Daisy was scratching her head against the tree.DSC_0160.jpgDSC_0171.jpgDSC_0184.jpgDSC_0193.jpgDSC_0197.jpg

The focus in the first and third is spot on. The others seem a bit soft. Otherwise, nice work.

The foreground grass stems are what spoils these for me as you want a completely clean face. You can either edit them out or, easier usually, return for another go. The tree scratch is my favourite as it’s a simple composition with no distractions.

Thank you :)
I will try to get rid of the grass stems, the nettles and grass were very tall and there was barbed wire behind, there was no way I could avoid them unless 'Daisy' walked down to the gate but she decided not to be that kind lol It is so rare that I see the cows anymore and it's the first time I have seen one by the fencing. Hopefully I will get lucky again sometime though :)
