Just a mile from my house, this is a World Unesco Heritage site.. The first Iron Bridge built by Abraham Darby.

Great bridge and lovely river. I'll bet the colors in Fall are wonderful on this river.

Thanks Guys.
Built in 1781 by Abraham Darby the first bridge to be built in iron, and it's built with woodworking joints (that's all they new in those days)
Yes great in Fall (Autumn .. lol) and in Winter.

I'm sure I've seen the bridge - just can't remember when. It's an amazing structure, right enough, and from the angle at which you shot, you've the left which shows the layering, and the right which demonstrates what it looks like more or less head on. Do you have a little more at the bottom to complete the circle?

1781! very neat and detailed. Would be fun to shoot with a 10-stop filter. I imagine lots of good reflection.

Yep, I like that composition a lot. I'd be up and down like a yoyo if that were so close to me! 4 season quadtych (or whatever it would be called?)

My thoughts, too.
